Polymarket leaderboards explained
Profit leaderboards, volume leaderboards and edge leaderboards measure different things. Here is how to read each one.
Profit leaderboards
Ranking by realized profit rewards size and time in the market. A wallet that trades millions at a thin margin can top it without being unusually accurate.
Volume leaderboards
Volume shows who is active, not who is right. Market makers and arbitrage bots often dominate volume because they trade both sides.
Edge leaderboards
WhaleGrader ranks wallets by price-adjusted edge: how often their $10k+ flags won versus how often the entry prices said they should. It requires a minimum number of graded flags and shows the sample size.
Reading a row
Called 6/6 with +48.8 pts on a small sample is interesting, not proven. Check the standard error, the categories the wallet trades, and whether its wins came at long odds or near-certain prices.
