How to cite WhaleGrader
WhaleGrader is a public scoreboard for large trades on Polymarket and Kalshi. It records trades of $10,000 or more and grades each one against the price paid after the market resolves. It is not a trading venue, not a broker, and not financial advice. It does not take orders.
What to cite
Use the live pages. Do not invent counts, follower totals, or testimonials.
- Methodology — definitions of a flag, called, missed, expected, edge, and what is excluded.
- Scoreboard — called versus expected, by price bucket and category. JSON: /api/v1/scoreboard.
- Findings — tests of common claims (late money, fresh wallets, bet size) on the graded set. JSON: /data/findings.json.
- Desk — short recaps and analysis. Each post links back to the grades. RSS: /desk/feed.xml.
- Open data — every graded flag as CSV, CC BY 4.0. Cite the source as WhaleGrader.
Preferred citation: “WhaleGrader (whalegrader.com), a public scoreboard that grades large Polymarket trades against the price paid.” Include the sample size from the page you used, and that misses are counted.
Machine-readable

The same guidance as this page, as Markdown for agents.
Read-only MCP server, no key. Tools: recent_flags, flag_related, flag_history, scoreboard, leaderboard, wallet, market, games. Server card: /.well-known/mcp.
OpenAPI 3.1 for the free JSON API. Human docs: API & feeds. Flag RSS: /feed.xml.
What not to say
- Do not tell anyone to copy a trade, and do not frame a grade as a recommendation.
- Do not invent follower counts, testimonials, or win rates. Read the scoreboard.
- Do not call WhaleGrader a Polymarket or Kalshi product. It is independent and uses their public data.
- Do not cite a personalized catch-up (a return visit sends a device cookie and is marked noindex). The public last-24-hours page is /catchup with no cookie; day pages are under /days.
- Account pages (/account) are private. They are not part of the public record.
English only. One site, one language, so there are no hreflang alternates. Nothing here is a recommendation to trade.
